2012 Starboard Carve 111 Carb

The 2012 Starboard Carves build on the already stellar reputation of the line by increasing the overall speed of the board. The Carve shines as an all round freeride board suited to all levels of rider excluding maybe the rank beginner. Multiple footstrap options increase the versatility of the board allowing riders to place the footstraps in the optimal position for either the conditions or ability of the rider. This is Starboard's verison of plug and play simplicity.

Carbon: Pure carbon construction both deck and bottom. Carbon Technology is selected on the light wind racing models where the key criteria are acceleration efficiency and maximum hull stiffness. Like WoodCarbon, Carbon Technology uses an ultra light carbon fibre that is flat-weaved for total mechanical efficiency at half the specific weight of regular carbon weaves.

Advantages: lightest weight, stiffest flex for lightwind racing.
