What a great 17M Kite. Sails in light wind effortlessly. Colour seems to be fading prematurely and the bag it comes with is cheap - no zippers, just two plastic clips. Negative points aside - premature fading of colour and bag that wont close I LOVE THIS KITE. Thanks SS - you guys are my go to !

Freshened my Low wind Kite from the Apollo 16M to the Moto XL 15 and the weight difference is serious just 2750 grams for the Moto XL 15M. Therefore it changes my Kite session for a new experience all out different , ease of self launching. Like the Pivotal nature of this Kite. The materials are improved as for lightness.

Tried the 9m Apex in a variety of conditions, from sub 10 knots to mid-teens on the foil, upper-teens on the surf board, and above 20 knots on the twin tip. It worked well in all scenarios, with easy board launches and drifting on the foil in easy nearly flat conditions. The power of the kite can be a bit deceiving as it floats without much pull at neutral position, but when dove it pulls significantly. Likes to go fast when powered, but does not like being over sheeted, with some back stalling if the power is not fully on. Makes jibing and foot switches on the surf board easy, as it provides good low end pull, to put weight on the kite while foot switching, and makes direction changes quick. TT power is good around 20 knots or above, and pulls aggressively and boosts easily, with soft landings. Recommended.
