Ride Engine Air Box Replacement Hose and Nozzle Kit

This pump makes life much easier when it comes to pumping up wings etc. It frees up time to get other equipment ready. Easy to use with one caveat -- I found that you need to really press, whichever attachment you use, hard into the wing's valve and then twist to lock into place. The pump works well, inflates my 8/10M in about a minute. No more kinked or cracked hose, and a cumbersome pump. The RE air box is compact and lightweight compared to the bulky pump sticking out of the side of the Kite bag. With manual pumps at $75-$110, this made sense (It was a birthday gift !!!). I was getting to a point where inflating kites was becoming a chore specially in winter weather - dressed in a drysuit and winter gear, pumping kite(s) left me out of breath by the time I got into the water. I have to see how long the battery lasts in winter weather. Overall I am happy with this - makes my setup a breeze.

For those of us who are wing foilers who are getting older, this Airbox is a game changer. Pumping up kites is not really a big deal with a hand pump however, with wings required to be rockhard, I found that the hand pump couldn't quite get me there in terms of the proper PSI and me feeling exhausted trying to get there. With the Airbox, your wing is pumped in no time ( a few minutes) while you are doing other things like setting up your foil, and it's pumped to the appropriate PSI. As well, when the wind changes and you need to downsize your wing, it's not a big deal to get out the Air box and have one pumped up in a couple of minutes and most importantly with no fatigue. A great product; I've been using this for over a year now and wish I had bought one sooner.

Works great. It pumps up my wing faster than I can get my wetsuit on.
